Congratulations to the June Open Water Class
All I can say is WOW! We did it. A huge thank you the Terry and Kelly for the extremely professional help and assistance they provided this weekend. I could not have done it without them. Please let these two know how you feel.
It was my pleasure to be your instructor the past couple of weekends. I hope you all had fun learning this fantastic sport and will continue to learn and dive from now on.

long-winded, details below...
This was a great weekend in Monterey!! Thanks to the Dive Masters Kelly and Terry, who were always available to help out with equipment questions or underwater assistance. Throughout the course their helping hand or comment were very comforting when my back or brain got over-loaded. The same can be said for near Dive Master Deann who also snagged my flipper before my runaway ascension got too serious, thank you! A double, or is that triple, thanks to Deann for all the work she did to collect, organize and manage the vast amount of equipment for the dives and the great snacks to recharge between dives and to make the class come off without a hitch.
Special thanks to our Diving Instructor, John. I've worked with John for several years and known him to be extremely organized, efficient and totally dependable; with a great sense of humor! It was good to see (at sea) that all of John's great attributes are carried over into the salty realm, in spades. Thank you, John, for being so thorough with a vast amount of information and infusing your humor into it too!!!

Wow!!! What an incredible experience. I truly enjoyed myself and am so looking forward to my next dive. On day one I was not sure if I was going to dig it. But after day two I didn’t want to get out of the water. I could not have done it without the stellar dive masters we had.
Johnny, your patience and guidance was superb. I know I always have a lot of questions and no matter what it was you never made me feel uncomfortable. I didn’t think I was going to be able to complete the mask removal task. But with your help and assistance I conquered one of the biggest fears I can remember ever having. Just thinking about it brings a little tear to my eye…It was a fear I tackled and I thank you. Terry, I felt honored to be aboard your boat. You were extremely knowledgeable, your calm nature made me feel really comfortable with what I was doing. I kept hearing your voice in my head when I was having difficulties under water (dive two to be exact). I felt like you knew my fears and supported me through the entire process. Kelly, I think your warm nature with people is extraordinary. You made me feel so wonderful after every dive and you were always there to coach me even if you were in the midst of helping someone else. Deanne and Brenda, you both were always there helping out with whatever needed to be done. Your kind words were very supportive for me. I’m glad you join us on our second day diving.
I also wanted to thank my dive buddy…Billy you supported me from day one and I know without your support I never would have even thought about diving.
This was truly an amazing experience for me and I thank you all.
I can’t wait to get back in the water....I hope to dive together soon –

Wow, I'm so happy to read all this " Awesome" enthusiasm for diving. I can't tell you students how great it is to see your faces and hear your comments after your first ocean dive. It's very cool to know we (Kelly and I) have helped in a small way to open up a new world for you as John did for us. Please keep the chain going and show others the joy of diving.
You were all great students and worked very hard. Congratulations to you all. You can come and dive with Brenda and I anytime.

A huge thank you to John our incredible dive instructor. your knowledge and patience were invaluable. you saw us through some rough spots but, kept at us until we did it right. Thank you for introducing us to the incredible underwater world. Kelly and Terry thanks for your guidence and knowledge you kept us calm and focussed! Deann and Brenda you two "rock" you kept us organized with our gear on and off the boat-thanks to all for sharing this incredible experince-we are "HOOKED" we are planning a shore dive as soon as Noel gets his ears cleaned- ha!
