Wow John, What can I say? I consider that a great compliment. Thank you. All I know and all I have learned is thanks to you, and your patience and skills as an instructor. I look forward to learning much more from you in the future. I have a lot of confidence now in my diving skills, that's totaly due to great teachings by you and Kelly. I love to dive! I love the friendships that have come from diving. I can't wait to finish the DM course and help others to discover and come to love diving as I have. Again John, it's all thanks to you man!

Diving this last weekend was a great time. 7 people and gear on the boat and everything went smooth as could be. I really had a fun time. Brenda did too, up until the boat launching mishap. She did great though, by stepping back clearing her stress and going out for a fun dive on the sailboat. All in all it was another awesome weekend in Monterey. Great friends, great fun.

    John Blausey:
Not only all of that but you forgot to mention the rescue of 5 students left behind by their instructor. That was a great decision to go check them out and a great job talking to them encouraging them to get in the boat and not making them feel bad for not wanting to swim a mile and a half to the beach. Your conversation with them was the sign of a skilled rescue diver. I couldn’t have done better so I just sat back and watched perfection. You can rescue me anytime.

Just a note to all of those who came down for the ADV class and saw the Acmescuba boat just sit in the parking lot. A BAD GROUND! That's all it was. The motor is up and running again. Don't you just love boats? I owe you guys a wreck dive for sure so we'll do that in a couple of weeks. Thanks for doin' the beach dives and goin' with the flow.

I am not sure how to convey my feelings about yesterday. For me it was what diving is all about. Great friends, great dives, great surface interval. Diving with someone we just came to know and introducing him to sites he had never dove was fantastic. You fit right in Jason. Diving with great friends on two boats everything working without a hitch was incredible. The best surface interval I have ever had. A pod of Rizzo's Dolphins in the bay off of the Metridium field was pricless. Thank you to all who joined us on this wonderful trip.

Thank you for allowing me to tag along and preview Dominica for a possible future group trip. The BEST diving I have ever experienced. Met some great people from all over the world. I learned a lot and look forward to future trips with larger groups of passionate divers.

Had a great time diving after almost 6 months. I was surprised as to how clear the water was at 70 ft. Excellent navigation, got us right on top of the WWII amtrack wrecks :)

last weekend we had a great class, great DMs and great weather. As a result there are two more certified divers on the planet. Congrats to them and I hope they enjoy a long and fun filled life of diving. As with all diving classes the only constant is "change". A big thank you to my DMs for rolling with it and learning from it.

Diving Sunday was a blast. A bit of the green sea flu if ya know what I mean but otherwise great. Had to chest butt a few guys in the parking lot as I was in a vehicle for 3 hours with 3 women. 2 great dives in the bay. 1st at the Anchor farm 79' for 31 minutes. Beautiful dive. Saw one of the larger anchors there and lots of sea life. 2nd dive at "south" Lovers. Spanish dancer may have been the highlight of the dive. Very large and colorful. Sunny all day and so windy we had to put rocks in our pockets.

Another great pool class. I have never seen all the students do all the skills perfectly on the first try.

The DM training went well also and was quite entertaining.

    Great job to all.

See you in the ocean this weekend.

Great class this past weekend. There are 3 new Open water divers on this planet. Too bad my phone didn't know how to swim.

My DM saved the day again with her turbo student retrieval action. Once again Kelly was there holding the hand of a nervous student making the day brighter for all of us. Thanx Kelly B.

  • A PADI "Style" IE Debriefing...

"I took the PADI instructors exam on November 19, 2005. There were 26 of us, and everyone did a great job. I specifically liked how everyone was able to finish the theory exam on time. I did identify a problem. The problem was some people did not pass the IE. The solution to this problem is to get training by only the best instructors, like John Blausey, who will teach you what demonstration quality skills are. So, I have now successfully completed IE to become a PADI professional. As a diver, I will find this skill valuable because my job requires it!"
